By clean we do not mean using the right shampoo but internal cleanliness. Internal cleanliness comes from introspection, awareness, meditation and yoga. Meditation is an excellent way to keep our mind and body healthy and active. It helps us focus on the breathing and be more aware of our body and soul. It keeps negative thoughts at bay and helps you calm down as a person. In this day and age of stress and tension, meditation is a blessing in disguise.

There are meditation apps available to help you focus on blank thoughts or soothing music that calms you down. You can also try a form of panic healing called om chanting that helps you focus on your breath and the syllable “om”. Meditation is almost mandatory in today’s world and can easily be practisised by all. You could do it under the guidance of an expert or join a group class that focuses on meditation. Do not expect immediate results and be patient. You will not be able to immediately empty your thoughts as your mind is used to thinking. When asked to meditate, your thoughts might drift but be patient and let yourself come back to the awareness of the area between your eyes. Ensure you close your eyes while meditating and do it in a quiet room without being disturbed.
